Does anyone believe in the free market anymore? I really thought this country was founded on the basis of very little federal government intervention. Am I wrong? I am not an economics major, but doesn't this issue have a whole lot to do with government control? Socialism? Sounds that way to me. Even J.F.K. would make your modern day conservative look like a socialist. Not kidding. These people, that the average American elected to fight for their beliefs, apparently only want more power. They have ignored our needs our security. Why? Is it time for a new party and turning our backs on the lobbyists? That has been long my thoughts. At this point, this is the only thing to make D.C. straight. Make these power junkies scared they will not get their next fix.
What are we headed for? Are we the next France? Are we going to be praying for some country to save us? I hope not. We were the greatest country in the world and I truly believe government control has stifled that. Call this what you will it really doesn't matter it is still socialism. Like the new catch phrase, "you can put lipstick on a pig", but it still boils down to socialism. In my humble opinion.
